The Lost Guardian

The last four months have been anything but quiet for Wil Johnson. Dreams of a strange girl with starlight in her hair have kept him awake for hours at a time, and now he has begun experiencing sudden bursts of emptiness which leave him dizzy and breathless. At the same time, his best friend Scott has lost his appetite and complains of an annoying ringing in his ear. When two other Secret Keepers, Andrew and Daisy, show up, they bring a dire message: The Gateway, home to all fantastical beings, has begun to unravel. Then Wil has a vision of Cassia, his Guardian, who is trapped in the Silver Pools, and the boys discover the Balance has been compromised by the Trisect. With the very existence of magic at stake, the boys dare to return to the Gateway to battle old and new enemies and put things right.
